In the morning of Mar 12, after an arduous endeavor, with the success of trial production once only of the first heat of molten iron and the first case of magnesium iron axle housing casting parts, Production Expansion Project on Axle Housing of Sinotruk Engine Department Casting Center completely success.

The Third Period of Production Expansion Project on Axle Housing of Casting Center is one of the most important projects of the Group. With the continuous increase of the requirement of magnesium iron axle housing, the designed productive capacity of the former axle housing assembly line couldn’t meet the requirement. In order to meet the increasing requirement of heavy truck market, accelerate the test speed of phenolic sand molding line, realizing the target of production increasing, leaders from Engine Department and Casting Center held special meetings many times to cooperate each work and drew up detailed engineering installation program centered on Production Expansion Project on Axle Housing.

Leaders of Casting Center went deep into production site many times to cooperate to resolve the difficulties restricting the promotion of Production Expansion Project on Axle Housing. A commando was established in the workshop, supervising the installation quality during the installation and test of the equipments on site to reduce the hidden trouble originated from the installation and test of the equipments. Meanwhile, they strengthened the training to the newly enrolled employees, arranged technicians and team leaders of each team explain the constitution, performance and principle of equipments, adopting one-to-one training aiming at sections easy to emerge problems affecting the production until they could operate skillfully. All of the measurements ensured the success of the trial production of axle housing casting parts once only.
